Festivals & Evrythng? A match made in the mosh pit...

We all love a festival, right?!

Over 5 million of us will be heading to a field or forest this summer where 30 million pints, G&Ts or Jaegerbombs will be sunk in the sun.

Whilst running indie festivals is hard, it’s a very profitable business for those supplying the booze. But where does all the money go?

As you know, at Evrythng:

We make the stuff you love to drink and give all the profit to those who fix things.

And it turns out that this approach fits nicely with the mindset of some of the UK’s best indie festival organisers!

That’s why you’ll find us popping up, supplying our gin, rum and vodka and gently sliding into the abyss at the following tribal gatherings over the summer:

• Green Man Festival - a dream come true!

Green Man is right up there when it comes to indie festivals who do it right. No sponsorship, no commercial-overlords and no feeling like you’re walking down Swindon High Street bombarded by messages from Spreggs, Smarchucks and Bonkley’s Bank!

The fact that we went from Zero to Green Man in 8 months still blows my mind a bit.

• Shambala - oh my gosh (to quote Jamie XX)!

Right at the cutting edge of sustainable events, Shambala pioneered reusable cups and lower-impact food, travel and procurement. What they do now feels like the norm, but 10 years ago they led the way.

• Green Gathering - like having your chakras blessed by Sir David himself

The OGs of the green festival space. Attending Green Gathering is like having your soul dipped in magic curing-wax. As it peels off, layers of grit, dirt and grime are removed revealing a magically re-awoken eco-citizen. (Yes, we had a great time last year!! :)

Plus, we’re supporting the Speakers Forum this year, so come and say hi.

• Tonnau - our very first festival partner!

Blessed by being on the beautiful isle of Ynys Môn, this compact but perfectly-formed party was the very first festival that stood up and gave Evrythng its chance to shine. Big up to Lora Carpenter (not on LI, alas) and the rest of the crew for having us back this year.

And the best news of all?

None of these partnerships cost us a penny (alcohol brands normally have to pay big bucks to be aligned with festivals). We got in contact, we told them our story, we listened to their hopes and dreams and we put together a plan.

“What happens if the profit created when you buy alcohol for your festival bars goes to fixing the planet instead of making those faceless mega-brands (like Smirnoff and Bacardi) a little richer than they were yesterday?”

That was the basic pitch - and you know what, it worked! 🎉
